Guide to adding products to your new website

Adding a simple product to WordPress
- Login into the backend of your website
- Go to WooCommerce > Products > Add Product
- Enter a product Title and Description
- Scroll down the page to the Product Data Section
- Enter in Regular Price / Sale Price
- On the left hand side, select the category for your product
- On the left hand side, assign an image to your product
- Scroll up and press publish
Adding a Variable product to WordPress
- Login into the backend of your website
- Go to WooCommerce > Products > Add Product
- Enter a product Title and Description
- Scroll down the page to the Product Data Section
- Switch the Product Date to ‘Variable Product’
- Click on Attributes and ‘Add’
- Enter in the Name of your Attribute eg. Colour or Name (Make sure you tick the box ‘Used for Variations’
- In the Value field – separate your values using the | symbol eg. Red | Black – Click save once done
- Click on Variations – using the drop down select ‘Create variations from all attributes’; and press go
- Enter in Regular Price / Sale Price for each item (Or, use the drop down and select ‘Set regular prices’ to apply the same price to all
- On the left hand side, select the category for your product
- On the left hand side, assign an image to your product
- Scroll up and press publish
