Design Tips So It Looks Right
Think About The Handle
If you go all the way round, there’s a small gap at the handle. Keep faces, names and logos away from that area so nothing gets lost behind it.
Left Or Right Handed
If you only print one side, think about who is drinking from it. A design on the left side faces the room when a right handed person holds it. Printing both sides avoids the question altogether.
Use Good Photos
Phone photos are fine as long as they’re the original file, not a screenshot or one that’s been sent through a messaging app. Those get squashed and can look blurry on a mug.
Keep Words Big
A mug is curved, so small text near the edges is hard to read. Fewer words, bigger letters.
