Do You Still Need Business Cards In 2026?

25 September 2026

Every few years someone says business cards are dead. Phones, QR codes, LinkedIn… who needs a bit of card anymore? Well, we print thousands of them every year here at Bumble Print, so we might be a little biased! But we genuinely think they’re still one of the best value things a business can buy.

They Get You Remembered

When you meet someone at an event, you’ve got a few minutes to make an impression. Handing over a nice, heavy card with a good design says you take your business seriously. A phone number typed into someone’s notes app just doesn’t have the same effect.

They Stick Around

A business card goes home in a pocket or a purse, gets left on a desk or pinned to a fridge. We hear it all the time, “I found your card from last year and gave you a ring”. That doesn’t happen with an email that’s been read and deleted.

They Work Alongside Your Phone

It doesn’t have to be one or the other. Add a QR code to the back of your card that links to your website, reviews or booking page, and you get the best of both worlds.

Make Yours Stand Out

If your going to hand out cards, make them good ones. A few ideas:

  • Go for a thicker stock or a soft touch finish, it feels great in the hand.
  • Add foil to your logo for a bit of shine.
  • Try a folded card if you need room for a price list or loyalty stamps.
  • Keep the the design clean. Your name, what you do and how to contact you is all anyone needs.

Our Verdict

Business cards aren’t going anywhere. They’re cheap, they work and they make you look professional. Have a look at our business cards and see your price straight away, or ask us to design them for you.
